Ankit Yadav, IAS, Collector North Goa, Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, Collector South Goa & Kushawati District, Shri. Arvind Khutkar, Director of Transport and other officials.

Mr. Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre in his address elaborated that the need and purpose of formation of the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety is to reduce the number of road accidents, further reduce the number of fatalities to zero and save precious lives.

Mr. Justice stated that Goa has the potential to become the First state of India with Zero Fatalities due to Road Accidents. Mr. Justice appealed all the officials to coordinate and work together to achieve the objectives to achieve a Zero fatality due to road accident target and make Goa an exemplary state to be the first State with Zero fatality in Road Accidents. Mr. Justice Also appealed to all the members of the Public to use proper safety gear while driving and also to follow and obey the traffic rules strictly.
