Goan Filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale Brings National Glory to Goa
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, announced the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards in New Delhi on 18 July 2026. The Hindi feature film Article 370 (2024), directed by Goan filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale, was honoured with the prestigious Best Feature Film award.
This achievement marks a proud milestone for Goa, as it brings Aditya Suhas Jambhale his third National Film Award. Earlier, he received the Best Director (Non-Feature Film) award for his acclaimed short film Aba Aiktyana, followed by the Best Non-Feature Film award for Karvaas. With the National Award for Article 370, Aditya Jambhale has further cemented his place among India’s most accomplished filmmakers.
