Renowned Konkani playwright Shri Pundalik Naik was conferred with the Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar by Kala Academy Goa in recognition of his outstanding lifelong contribution to Konkani theatre and literature.
On the occasion, eminent personalities who have made significant contributions to the field of Konkani drama were also felicitated.
The programme was graced by Union Minister of State for Power Shri Shripad Naik , Minister for Art & Culture Shri Ramesh Tawadkar, Chairman of Kala Academy Shri Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar, President of Goa Konkani Akademi Dr Purnanand Chari, and other distinguished dignitaries
