The Joint Enforcement and Monitoring Committee, constituted by the Government of Goa undertook inspections across the South Goa District today, under the guidance and supervision of the District Magistrate.
The inspections were conducted in prominent locations, including coastal areas, nightclubs, restaurants, and public entertainment venues in Salcete, Quepem, Mormugao, and Canacona. The objective of the inspections was to verify compliance with fire safety protocols and statutory regulations in establishments associated with the tourism sector.
