Shri Joao Fernandes, Chief Officer of the Cuncolim Municipal Council and Electoral Registration Officer and Smt Siddhy Pai Angle, Jt Mamlatdar and AERO 34 Cuncolim AC for the 34-Cuncolim Assembly Constituency, in coordination with the Office of the Collector & District Election Officer, South Goa, and under the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, organized a Brainstorming Training cum Assessment Session.
The session, held at the Mathany Saldanha Administrative Complex, was aimed at enhancing the capacity and preparedness of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors for the effective implementation of the Representation of the People Act (RoPA).
A total of 45 BLOs and 5 BLO Supervisors participated in the training, where they were sensitized on their roles and responsibilities, best practices, and the importance of maintaining accuracy and transparency in the electoral process.
