The depression over southeast Arabian Sea moved nearly northwards with a speed of 13
kmph during last 6 hours, intensified into a deep depression and lay centered at 1130 hours IST
of today, the 06th June, 2023 over southeast and adjoining eastcentral Arabian Sea near latitude
11.9°N and longitude 66.0°E, about 930 km west-southwest of Goa, 1060 km southwest of
Mumbai, 1150 km south-southwest of Porbandar and 1450 km south of Karachi.
It is likely to move nearly northwards and intensify into a cyclonic storm over Eastcentral
Arabian Sea & adjoining southeast during next 6 hours.
