Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant launched Logo & Anthem of FIDE Chess World Cup Goa 2025 to be held from 31st October to 27th November, 2025.

Sports Minister, Shri. Ramesh Tawadkar, Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, President of All India Chess Federation, Shri. Nitin Narang, Secretary for All India Chess Federation, Shri. Dev Patel, President for Goa Chess Federation, Shri. Mahesh Candolkar, Director, Sports, Dr. Ajay Gaude were present for the launch ceremony.
