The District Magistrate, South Goa District constitutes flying squad at taluka level to curb illegal sand mining.

Collector, Ms Egna Cleetus,IAS chaired a meeting with the flying squad team.

Directs Government officers including Deputy Collectors, Mamlatdars and Talathi to monitor and enforce appropriate legal action in cases of illegal sand mining.

General Public are urged to report any instances of illegal sand mining by calling/ sending WhatsApp messages (upto 30 words with photographs) to the Taluka level Flying squad.
