Superintendent of Police, South Goa, Shri Tikam Singh Verma, IPS directs all SDPOs and Police Inspectors of Police stations across the district to personally supervise night patrolling, nakabandhi arrangements, and deployment at sensitive points.
They have further been instructed to maintain strict coordination with traffic police, coastal security units, and intelligence branches to pre-empt any untoward incident.
The Police have appealed to the citizens of South Goa to extend full cooperation by adhering to safety advisories, avoiding unnecessary late-night movements in isolated areas, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity to the nearest Police Station or by dialing 112.
