LoP Yuri Alemao on Thursday demanded to relax provisions of TCP Act for Kabrastan at Sonsodo-Margao as the earmarked area has steep gradient. He said that, of the 30,000 sqm land acquired at Sonsodo, selected 2500 sqm land for burial is insufficient, as Muslim community require prayer area, washing area and parking.
TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane assured house to look into the matter.
