Social welfare Minister Shri. Subhash Phal Dessai laid a wreath at the Chieftains Memorial on the occasion of Chieftains Uprising Commemoration Day paying tribute to the Revolt of the Chieftains in Cuncolim in the presence of Leader of Opposition, Shri. Yuri Alemao, Navelim MLA, Shri. Ulhas Tuenkar, Collector South, Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, SP South, Shri. Tikam Singh Verma, IPS and others.
On the occasion, Guard of Honours was paid by the Police troupe.
