Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended and addressed the World MSME Day 2025 event organized by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC), Government of Goa, along with Industries Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho. During the event, the Chief Minister launched the IRIS Peridot MSME TV App, distributed Udyam Certificates, and felicitated trainees.

Highlighting the state’s achievements, Dr. Sawant noted that Goa is home to over 70,000 MSMEs generating business worth more than ₹21,000 crore. He emphasized Goa’s commitment to driving innovation, supporting women-led startups, and promoting inclusive growth through the RAMP initiative. The Chief Minister called for collective efforts towards building a Swayampurna Goa and a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
