The Goa Konkani Akademi marked 34th ‘Rashtramanytai Dis’ with the Konkani Sahitya and Bhasha Seva Puraskar for 2025-26 at the Auditorium of the Department of Chemistry, Goa University, Taleigao.
On the occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant presented the Konkani Sahitya and Bhasha Seva Puraskar for 2025-26 to the awardees, recognising their contributions to Konkani language, literature and language service.
Chief Minister witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and the Goa Konkani
Akademi.
The programme was attended by Chairman, Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Dr. Bhagesh Jha, IAS, Secretary (Official Language), Shri.Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, Recipient of the Saraswati and Kuvempu Awards; Shri Mahabaleshwar Sail, In-charge Director, Official Language, Shri. Vivek Naik, Secretary, Goa Konkani Akademi, Shri Parag Nagarskar, President of the Goa Konkani Akademi, Dr. Purnanand Chari.
