Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended the 14th Foundation Day Celebration of Bilvadal Parivar and the felicitation ceremony of traditional herbal healers, Vaidya Mitra Samman Sohala, held at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall in Panaji.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister presented the prestigious Goa Bhushan Award to renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Premanand Ramani in recognition of his exceptional contribution to society.
The event also honoured Vaidya Mitras from across Goa for their efforts in preserving and promoting traditional herbal healing practices passed down through generations. The felicitation reflects the organisation’s commitment to recognising and preserving indigenous knowledge systems
