The Joint Committee on the Constitution (129th Amendment) Bill, 2024 and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024 held extensive stakeholder consultations at Benaulim.

The discussions brought together the Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant , MP Shri P. P. Chaudhary, Ministers, senior Government officials, political parties, academia, legal experts, and industry representatives to deliberate on the constitutional, administrative, electoral and economic aspects of

simultaneous elections.
