Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the 3days Goa Forest Diversity Festival 2026, organised by the Goa Forest Development Corporation Ltd. at Panaji.
CM released the documentary Waterfalls of Goa, which beautifully captures the natural richness of our forests and also released the book on forest recipes of Goa highlighting the deep cultural and traditional knowledge rooted in these landscapes.
The programme was held in the august presence of Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri Shripad Naik , Minister for Forest, Shri. Vishwajit P RANE , Minister for Tourism, Shri Rohan Khaunte , Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade, MLA and Chairperson, Goa Forest Development Corporation Ltd., Dr. Deviya Rane and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Kamal Datta, IFS
