The Collectorate of South Goa and Kushavati Districts, in coordination with the Directorate of Census Operations Goa, successfully concluded a three-day training programme for Technical Assistants and Charge Clerks.
The training sessions were conducted by Master Trainers namely Shri Maruti Sulebhavi, Shri Nitin Kumar, Shri Amit Chaudhary and Shri Pulkit Sharma, who effectively integrated theoretical instruction with hands-on practical modules to ensure digital accuracy and data integrity for the forthcoming Population Census 2027.
The Census of India 2027 in Goa will be conducted in two digital phases.
a. The first phase-the Houselisting and Housing Census, will be carried out from 1st April 2026 to 15th May 2026 comprising 15 days of self-enumeration followed by a 30-day field operation.
b. The second phase-Population Enumeration will commence in February 2027.
