Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was inaugurated at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Bambolim, reinforcing Goa’s commitment to building a drug-free society. The national campaign aims to create awareness, prevent substance abuse and encourage community participation in eliminating drug addiction.
The programme was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar, Social Welfare Minister Shri Subhash Phal Dessai,Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Social Welfare, Shri Sarpreet Singh Gill, IAS, and other dignitaries.
Earlier, Union Minister, Dr. Virendra Kumar, along with Social Welfare Minister Shri Subhash Phal Dessai flagged off awareness rally on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to create awareness among the public.
