Deputy speaker & MLA Mapusa, Shri. Joshua De Souza held a detailed meeting to take forward the proposed plan for the refurbishment of the Mapusa Municipal Market.
The main objective of the meeting was to undertake the redevelopment work in a phased manner along with the inputs and suggestions of all the Stakeholders. People centric approach to development towards a vibrant Mapusa market.
Present were GSUDA officials, MMC Chairperson Smt. Priya Mishal, Vice Chairperson Shri Prakash Bhishet, Chief Officer Shri Chandrakant Shetkar, Councillors, Market Committee Chairman, Market Engineers, Market Inspectors, Shri Yogesh Khedekar President of BJP Mapusa Mandal, Architect Shri Ashwinikumar Prabhu, Representatives of Mapusa Merchants Association, All Goa Merchants Federation, Mapusa Bakers, Mapusa Flower Market, and All Goa FMCG and Telecom Distributors Associations.
