Shri Ramesh Gaonkar, Additional Collector-II, South, chaired 3rd Monthly Meeting of District Water & Sanitation Mission in South Goa in the presence of & Shri.Naryan S.Tirvenkar, Member Secretary of DWSM.
The officials from Health, ACF, RFO, Information & Technology, DDPS, BDO, WRD, Agriculture were also present
The following issues were discussed
1. Directorate of Panchayat gave details regarding work pending in each Panchayat Level wherein a continuous follow up is taken from each Panchayats for the implementation of Swach Bharat Mission 2.0
2. A Memorandum is issued by DOP to village panchayats to appoint 2 women members for setting up Village Water and Sanitation Committee (VWSC) for JJM & SBH-G.
3. Training will be conducted to women for water testing process once the committee is formed.
All concerned were directed to adhere to the above directions.
