A training session for Booth Level Agents (BLA-2) appointed by recognised political parties with respect to Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls was conducted for the 22–Siroda Assembly Constituency.
The training was conducted by Shri Shantanu Gauns, National Level Master Trainer, India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management, under the aegis of the Office of the Electoral Registration Officer, 22–Siroda Assembly Constituency, headed by Shri Shubham Naik, Deputy Collector & ERO.
The session aimed to familiarise Booth Level Agents with the detailed procedures prescribed by the Election Commission of India for ensuring that the electoral rolls remain accurate, comprehensive, and free from errors.
Participants were sensitised on their role in assisting Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during verification of entries, identification of duplicate or migrated voters, and facilitating enrolment, deletion, correction, or transposition through the prescribed forms.
The training also emphasised the importance of neutrality, transparency, and discipline while performing duties, reaffirming the crucial role of BLAs in upholding the integrity of the electoral process and strengthening public trust in free and fair elections.
