Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the 3-days workshop on “Implementation of the Goa Clean Energy Roadmap 2050” at Panaji in the presence of Minister for Power & New and Renewable Energy, Shri Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar, Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri. Stephen Fernandes and other dignitaries.
The workshop was organized by the Department of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. Of Goa, in collaboration with the Goa Energy Development Agency and with technical support from GIZ.
CM launched Goa Renewable Energy Capacity Planning Report, Net Positive Panchayat (NPP) Initiative – India’s first program to make every panchayat energy self-sufficient & also MoU with SELCO Foundation was signed.
The objective of the workshop is to develop an action-oriented strategy for the effective implementation of the Goa Clean Energy Roadmap & to help the State achieve its Net Zero target by 2050.
