The District Magistrate, South Goa directed the executing department of the National Highway to undertake necessary restoration works to enable the movement of six-wheeler vehicles to ease the inconvenience caused to the general public and goods transporters.
It may be informed that the said route had earlier restricted the movement of all heavy commercial vehicles on Anmod Ghat (NH) from both sides in view of safety concerns arising out of landslides..
Accordingly, Corrigendum has been issued, permitting the operation of Six-Wheeler Transport Vehicles on the Anmod Ghat route.
