Collector (North Goa) and Chairman of the North Goa District Mineral Foundation Trust (NGDMFT), Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS, chaired the 17th Managing Committee Meeting of the Trust.

The committee reviewed key proposals sanctioned by the NGDMFT worth over ₹22 crore aimed at improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, renewable energy, and livelihood in mining-affected areas of North Goa.

New proposals such as setting up a skill development centre, scholarships for students, desiltation works, and solar electrification were also discussed and recommended for decision of the Governing Council.

The meeting was attended by ex-officio Member-Trustees of NGDMFT and representatives from various Government departments.
