The Collector North, Shri. Ankit Yadav, IAS, chaired the Annual General Meeting of District Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals North. The Member Secretary laid the audited account to the body.
The Hon. Executive Secretary gave a presentation on the activities carried out by DSPCA North and highlighted special cases done by the officers. DSPCA North attends to all cases that come under the purview of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960.
Furthermore, they also attend to feeder harassment issues with Resident Welfare Associations/Housing Societies to find feeding spots incoordination with other departments.
